The Managing Director is responsible for the financial and general management of the English Theatre departmentŐs activities, including, budgets, planning, contract negotiations, industry liaison and other aspects of administration.

The Company Dramaturg and Artistic Associate assists the Artistic Director in programming planning and in liaison with the theatre community. She is responsible for play development activities and works with playwrights.

Company Manager

The Company Manager coordinates the needs of visiting companies and artists. Her duties include travel, accommodation and payroll. She is also responsible for special events involving artists, such as Opening Nights and post-performance Talkbacks.

Education and Outreach Coordinator

The Education and Outreach Coordinator works in the National Capital Region and across Canada with various communities (educational, professional, aboriginal, youth ) to offer educational programmes extending the programming of NAC English Theatre through workshops, study guides, speaking engagements, backstage tours and consultations.

Communications Officer

The Communications Officer writes and distributes media releases, public service announcements and house programmes for upcoming English Theatre productions and events. She acts as our liason with print and electronic media across the country, and is the editor for English Theatre subscriber newsletters.

The Administrative Coordinator, Youth Programs handles bookings for student audiences (matinees and workshops). She also books reservations for groups at a special discounted rate of 50% off regular ticket prices.
